As part of increasing our competitiveness Aquamarine decided to certify the in-house NDT department. Some of our clients require A Third Party NDT Inspection Company to carry out NDT inspection. This meant that we were required to mobilise external third party NDT services. This was both time consuming and more costly. Now with our Accreditation in place, we are able to carry out these services within our In-House NDT Department, and therefor able to reduce both cost and time
Aquamarine Subsea´s NDT department received 9th January 2017 its Accreditation certificate issued by the Norwegian Accreditation. Aquamarine Subsea is then
accredited as independent Inspection Body and complies with the requirements of
NS-EN-ISO/IEC 17020.
Aquamarine Subsea is then one of four companies in Norway complying with the ISO 17020 requirements.
